On September 17-18 we’re bringing 350 top creators, storytellers, and media executives together for Created in LA.

It begins with the first-ever YouTube red carpet premiere at the historic El Capitan Theatre.

Then we head to Disney's Burbank Studios for keynotes and performances on day two.

It's like TED meets Sundance.

Day 1 The Premiere

Created in LA kicks off Thursday, September 17 at the historic El Capitan Theatre, home to red carpet premieres of blockbusters from The Lion King to The Avengers.

But this time, we'll roll out the red carpet for creators. For the first time in the El Capitan's 100-year history, we'll premiere YouTube videos from the biggest creators on the biggest screen.

Day 2 The Summit

On Friday, September 18, we head to Disney's Burbank Studios for a day of talks, performances, and surprises. We'll unpack the future of storytelling, YouTube, and the business behind it.

Like TED, every session is highly produced and each attendee is hand-selected so conversations can spark new ideas and partnerships.

Walt Disney built the blueprint for creators today.

1921

At 19 years old, Walt animated his first cartoons in his garage.

1937

Defying critics, Snow White became the highest-grossing film of its time and funded Disney's Burbank Studios.

1955

Disneyland opened, bringing Walt's stories and characters to life.

1991

Disney Studios restored the historic El Capitan Theatre, becoming the premiere venue for many of its biggest films.

2026

Disney continues to tell stories that bring us together and remind us what one creator's imagination can build.

Meet Our Host

Jon Youshaei is one of the few people to work inside both YouTube and Instagram before becoming a creator.

TED dubbed him the “Oprah of YouTube” for his interviews with MrBeast, Steph Curry, and Mark Rober while Gary Vaynerchuk said: “Jon is a creative force who every creator, marketer, and exec can learn from.”

As the creator behind Created in LA, Jon will host and curate the event: hand-selecting speakers together with Disney and keeping the two days flowing from the red carpet kickoff to closing reception.
